Junior High Start Times
Single game starts at 7PM. Two games start at 5:30PM.
6th Official Option (7A / 6A only)
Use of six (6) officials requires conference approval with an additional $180 game fee. No single schools.
8-Man Second Game
If a second game is selected, an additional game fee per official is required. Second game start time TBD.
Junior High Timing Rules (AAA/AOA Memo 09/19/2025):
- Additional games must be based on four (4) quarters.
- Halves with running clock are NO longer permitted and NOT considered an official contest.
- Conferences/Schools must declare 6, 7, or 8-minute quarters before the season starts.
- If not declared, AAHSO will default to 6-minute quarters with regular timing rules for the last 2 minutes of each half.
- Running clock with regular timing rules for last 2 minutes of each half. No more than 2 timeouts per half.
